Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the need for developing an interactive e-module on Coding and Artificial Intelligence to improve the computational thinking skills of Phase C students. This research represents the analysis stage of a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model. The needs analysis was conducted through interviews with teachers and questionnaires administered to 30 Phase C students at SDN 2 Nusa Serasan. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis by calculating the percentage of each respondent's answers. The findings revealed that Coding and Artificial Intelligence learning was still dominated by textbooks, teacher explanations, and worksheets, while the use of interactive learning media had not been optimized. The questionnaire results indicated that most students responded positively to the development of an interactive e-module containing images, videos, animations, quizzes, simulations, and immediate feedback. Students believed that the interactive e-module could facilitate their understanding of the learning materials, enhance learning motivation, and support the development of computational thinking skills. Therefore, the development of an interactive Coding and Artificial Intelligence e-module is considered feasible to proceed to the design and development stages as a learning medium that meets the learning needs of Phase C students.
