Representasi Nilai-Nilai Humanisme dalam Lagu Majida El Roumi: Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap representasi nilai-nilai humanisme dalam lirik lagu-lagu Majida El Roumi melalui kajian semiotika Roland Barthes. Humanisme merupakan salah satu tema penting dalam sastra dan musik Arab modern yang sering diekspresikan melalui simbol-simbol budaya, sosial, dan spiritual. Namun, kajian mengenai konstruksi humanisme dalam lirik lagu Arab, khususnya karya Majida El Roumi, masih relatif terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Data penelitian berupa lirik tiga lagu Majida El Roumi, yaitu Kalimat, Beirut, dan Khuleqta Taleeqan. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka dan dianalisis menggunakan semiotika Roland Barthes yang meliputi tahap denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai humanisme direpresentasikan melalui berbagai simbol, seperti kata-kata, awan, hujan, bunga, kota, burung, belenggu, gua, dan cahaya. Pada tingkat denotasi, simbol-simbol tersebut menggambarkan pengalaman manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada tingkat konotasi, simbol-simbol tersebut merepresentasikan cinta, empati, solidaritas, kebebasan, perlawanan terhadap penindasan, serta pencarian pengetahuan dan kesadaran diri. Sementara itu, pada tingkat mitos, simbol-simbol tersebut membangun ideologi kemanusiaan yang menempatkan manusia sebagai makhluk yang bermartabat, bebas, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa humanisme dalam lagu-lagu Majida El Roumi dibangun melalui tiga ruang simbolik, yaitu ruang batin, ruang sosial, dan ruang eksistensial-spiritual. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu Arab tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ekspresi estetis, tetapi juga sebagai medium konstruksi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dan kritik sosial dalam masyarakat Arab modern.
