Analisis Nilai Moral dalam Novel Chengnan Jiushi
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis jenis nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Memories of Peking: South Side Stories (城南旧事) karya Lin Haiyin serta mengkaji bentuk pengungkapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 221 data yang berkaitan dengan nilai moral dalam novel tersebut. Data tersebut diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kategori utama, yaitu nilai moral antara individu dengan diri sendiri, nilai moral antara individu dengan orang lain, dan nilai moral antara individu dengan masyarakat. Nilai moral antara individu dengan orang lain merupakan kategori yang paling dominan, yaitu sebanyak 135 data (61,09%), diikuti nilai moral antara individu dengan diri sendiri sebanyak 60 data (27,15%), serta nilai moral antara individu dengan masyarakat sebanyak 26 data (11,76%). Berdasarkan cara pengungkapannya, sebanyak 127 data diungkapkan secara implisit dan 94 data secara eksplisit. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa novel lebih dominan menyampaikan pesan moral melalui tindakan tokoh, perkembangan alur, dan deskripsi psikologis dibandingkan melalui penyampaian secara langsung. Dengan demikian, novel ini mengandung nilai moral yang kaya dan memiliki nilai edukatif, sehingga berpotensi menjadi bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran sastra, khususnya sastra Mandarin.
