Analisis Tindak Tutur Direktif dalam Serial Animasi Nussa dan Rara sebagai Media Pendidikan Karakter
Abstract
This study aims to describe the forms of directive speech acts in the animated series Nussa and Rara and analyze their functions as a medium character education for children. This study employed a qualitative approach ussing a descriptive method. The data source consisted of dialogues from several episodes of Nussa and Rara, namely Minta Tolong dan Terimakasih, Belajar Jujur, Belajar Ikhlas, Sholat Itu Wajib, and Bundaku. Data were collected through observation and note-taking techniques and analyzed using John Searle’s theory of directive speech acts. The results revealed 10 directive speech acts consisting of invitations, advice, commands, and prohibition cammon advice and invitations were the most domiforms found in the data. These directive speech acts functioned to instill character values such as politeness, respect for others, honesty, patience, religiosity, discipline, affection, and respect for parents. The findings indicate that directive speech acts in Nussa and Rara serve not only as a means of communication but also as an effective medium character education for children. Therefore, the animated series Nussa and Rara can be utilized as a learning medium that supports character development through communicative and easily understood moral messages.
