Kajian Antropologi Budaya Pada Novel Langgam Nyi Bagelen dan Relevansinya Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Kelas X SMA
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena degradasi kesadaran budaya lokal di kalangan generasi muda dan keterbatasan bahan ajar sastra yang bermuatan kearifan lokal di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur intrinsik novel Langgam Nyi Bagelen karya Yusuf Mahessa Dewo Pasiro, mengidentifikasi tujuh unsur kebudayaan universal di dalamnya, serta menjelaskan relevansi hasil kajian tersebut sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia di kelas X SMA. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Sumber data utama adalah novel Langgam Nyi Bagelen, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur intrinsik novel ditopang oleh tema perjuangan dan eksistensi perempuan Jawa, tokoh utama Lya dan Johan, alur maju yang bergerak linear, latar spasial di wilayah Bagelen, sudut pandang orang pertama ("aku"), serta amanat pentingnya menghargai tradisi lokal. Dari aspek antropologi budaya, novel ini merekam secara komprehensif tujuh unsur kebudayaan universal menurut teori Koentjaraningrat yang mencakup sistem religi (pantangan adat dan ritual nyadran), organisasi kemasyarakatan, sistem pengetahuan (titen alam), bahasa Jawa (Ngoko dan Krama), kesenian (Tari Dolalak), mata pencaharian (petani dan penyadap nira), serta perpaduan sistem teknologi peralatan tradisional dan modern. Hasil kajian ini sangat relevan diterapkan pada Capaian Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Fase E di kelas X SMA melalui rancangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model deep learning (pembelajaran mendalam). Melalui model ini, peserta didik tidak hanya mengevaluasi unsur formal teks tetapi juga merefleksikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal untuk penguatan karakter diri secara kritis.
