Eksistensi Bahasa Indonesia sebagai Bahasa Nasional dan Ilmiah di Era Digital
Abstract
Bahasa Indonesia memegang kedudukan strategis sebagai bahasa nasional sekaligus bahasa ilmiah di tengah arus digitalisasi dan globalisasi yang semakin intensif. Namun, eksistensinya menghadapi tantangan struktural: dominasi bahasa Inggris dalam ranah akademik, meluasnya fenomena campur kode di ruang digital, serta lemahnya standardisasi penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dalam karya ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis eksistensi bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa nasional dan bahasa ilmiah di era digital, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendorongnya, serta merumuskan strategi penguatan berdasarkan bukti empiris dari kajian mutakhir. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka sistematis (systematicliteraturereview) terhadap 20 sumber ilmiah terpilih terbitan 2019–2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam temuan utama: (1) eksistensi bahasa Indonesia sebagai pemersatu bangsa tetap kokoh secara konstitusional; (2) fungsi ilmiahnya berkembang namun belum optimal karena rendahnya produksi terminologi teknis; (3) campur kode dan alih kode semakin masif di ranah digital; (4) kebijakan bahasa yang ada belum terimplementasi efektif; (5) pengembangan kosakata ilmiah melalui KBBI Daring menunjukkan trajektori positif; dan (6) literasi akademik berbahasa Indonesia masih membutuhkan penguatan sistemik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa peta tantangan eksistensi bahasa Indonesia yang berbasis data kajian terkini serta rekomendasi kebijakan yang operasional.
