Penerapan Media Audiovisual terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Pidato Persuasif Berdasarkan Struktur Teks pada Siswa Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 3 Pardasuka
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media audiovisual terhadap kemampuan menulis teks pidato persuasif berdasarkan struktur teks pada siswa kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 3 Pardasuka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes menulis teks pidato persuasif yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa setelah penerapan media audiovisual. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan rata-rata nilai posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audiovisual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks pidato persuasif berdasarkan struktur teks.
