Penyair sebagai Mesin: Proses Kreatif dan Fenomena Puisi Mesin
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses kreatif Martin Suryajaya dalam buku Penyair sebagai Mesin serta mengkaji implementasi konsep “penyair sebagai mesin” dalam praktik penciptaan puisi berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi digital yang tidak hanya menghadirkan alat baru dalam sastra, tetapi juga menggeser pemahaman tentang proses kreatif dari yang berpusat pada ekspresi individual menuju sistem yang melibatkan interaksi antara manusia, bahasa, dan mesin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, dengan data berupa teks dalam buku Penyair sebagai Mesin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis dokumen, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kartu data yang digunakan untuk mencatat, mengklasifikasikan, dan menginterpretasikan data terkait proses kreatif Martin Suryajaya serta fenomena puisi mesin dalam buku Penyair sebagai Mesin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses kreatif yang dilakukan bersifat hibrid, sistemik, dan diakronik, melalui tahapan penyusunan korpus, pelatihan model, dan generasi teks puisi berbasis algoritma yang mengolah berbagai lapisan sejarah sastra Indonesia. Dalam praktik tersebut, peran penyair mengalami pergeseran dari pencipta individual menjadi perancang sistem, kurator data, dan editor dalam kerangka human in the loop, di mana manusia tetap memegang kendali akhir. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa puisi mesin bukan merupakan pengganti kreativitas manusia, melainkan menunjukkan pergeseran paradigma kreatif menuju sistem produksi berbasis bahasa dan teknologi, sekaligus membuka kemungkinan baru dalam praktik sastra Indonesia di era digital.
