Kajian Nilai Moral dan Kehidupan Sosial dalam Drama Kapai-Kapai Karya Arifin C.Noer
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang nilai-nilai moral dan refleksi kehidupan sosial yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Kapai-Kapai (1970) yang ditulis oleh Arifin C.Noer.Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra,teks drama ini dianalisis sebagai suatu dokumen sosial yang mencerminkan marginalisasi kelompok proletar di tengah-tengah proses modernisasi dan sistem kapitalisme.Metode yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan dengan teknik analisis isi.Temuan dari peneliti ini menunjukkan bahwa drama Kapai-Kapai memiliki tiga kategori utama nilai moral: (1) moral individu,yang meliputi ketahanan serta hilangnya kejujuran akibat tekanan yang dihadapi; (2) moral sosial,yang ditandai oleh alienasi,minimnya solidaritas,serta penindasan oleh kelas borjuis; dan (3) moral religius yang mencakup kepasrahan yang keliru(fatalisme) serta pencarian spritual yang datang terlambat.Dari segi sosial,karya ini dengan tajam mencerminkan kenyataan kemiskinan struktural,alienasi para pekerja,ketidakadilan relasi kekuasaan antara tokoh (Majikan dan Bel terhadap Abu),serta tekanan dari sistem mekanis yang mendiskreditkan individu yang lemah.Penulis menyampaikan kritik moralnya dengan cara yang tidak langsung melalui satir,alegori tokoh simbolik,dan ironi tragis di akhir kehidupan tokoh utama.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kapai-Kapai lebih dari sekedar kisah penderitaan individu,tetapi merupakan kritik makro terhadap dehumanisasi sistemik yang melanda masyatakat modern kelas bawah.
