Strategi Transformasi Literasi: Meningkatkan Kunjungan Perpustakaan melalui Kompetisi Penulisan Cerita Pendek di SMP Negeri 5 Tegal
Abstract
Low student visits to the school library are a barrier to developing a culture of literacy. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a short story writing competition as an effort to increase library visits and student reading interest at SMP Negeri 5 Tegal. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with participatory observation techniques and library visit data analysis. The results showed that the competition, which required students to utilize reading resources from the library, significantly increased visits. Furthermore, this activity also encouraged the development of students' creative thinking skills through the integration of reading and writing activities.Downloads
