Penerapan Keterampilan Menyimak Terhadap Teks Iklan Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Media Audio Visual Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan awal keterampilan menyimak teks iklan siswa sebelum menggunakan media audio visual, mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyimak siswa setelah penerapan media audio visual, serta menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan menyimak teks iklan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen melalui desain One Group Pretest–Posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes menyimak teks iklan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media audio visual berupa video iklan layanan masyarakat. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji peningkatan (N-Gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 64,38 dengan tingkat ketuntasan belajar 28,12%. Setelah penerapan media audio visual, nilai rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 82,19 dengan tingkat ketuntasan belajar mencapai 84,38%. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menyimak pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Dengan demikian, penerapan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak teks iklan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang.
