Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Model Teun A. Van Dijk pada “Darurat Pendidikan: Siswa SMP Tidak Bisa Membaca, Pemerintah Bisa Apa?”
Abstract
Studi ini menganalisis artikel berita daring berjudul “Darurat Pendidikan: Siswa SMP Tidak Bisa Membaca, Apa yang Dapat Dilakukan Pemerintah?” yang diterbitkan oleh KBR (24 April 2025), menggunakan model Analisis Wacana Kritis (CDA) Teun A. van Dijk. Penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga struktur wacana: makrostruktur, superstruktur, dan mikrostruktur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa berita tersebut mengkonstruksi krisis literasi di kalangan siswa SMP sebagai kegagalan sistemik pendidikan. Wacana tersebut menekankan tanggung jawab pemerintah, penurunan kinerja literasi siswa (seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam data PISA), dan kebutuhan mendesak akan reformasi pendidikan. Pilihan leksikal, struktur kalimat, dan pertanyaan retoris mencerminkan sikap ideologis media yang mengkritik inkonsistensi kebijakan, menggarisbawahi kurangnya keterlibatan keluarga dan guru, dan mendesak kesadaran kolektif untuk peningkatan literasi.
