Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Cerpen Falluh Hasil Adaptasi Situs Ibnulyemen Arabic
Abstract
Analyzing character education values in the short story Falluh, adapted on the Ibnulyemen Arabic website from the Grimm Brothers’ Fairy Tales, needs to be conducted so that the moral messages contained in it can be used as lessons for readers; therefore, this research was carried out. This study employs a qualitative research design using a descriptive-analytic method. The approach used is Robert Stanton’s Structuralism. The primary data source of this research is the short story Falluh published on the Ibnulyemen Arabic website. The data collection technique begins with reading the entire text, understanding its theme, and then selecting parts that are considered to contain character education values. Data analysis is conducted by repeatedly reading the text segments that contain values, interpreting and giving meaning to them, and then matching them with the character education values established by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The results of the study indicate that the short story Falluh has the theme Good Deeds Bring Good Fortune, and contains six character education values, namely: responsibility, appreciation of achievement, hard work, social care, environmental care, and honesty. Through this research, it is expected that readers can understand the character education values contained in this short story and make good use of them.
