Analisis Sosiologi Sastra Dalam Cerpen “Rumah Yang Terang” karya Ahmad Tohari
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis cerpen “Rumah yang Terang” karya Ahmad Tohari menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi berdasarkan teori Ian Watt, meliputi tiga aspek utama: konteks sosial pengarang, karya sastra sebagai cermin masyarakat, dan fungsi sosial sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data utama berupa teks cerpen dan referensi pendukung dari buku serta jurnal ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerpen menggambarkan kehidupan sosial pedesaan, terutama pergulantara nilai tradisional, modern saat teknologi listrik mulai masuk ke pedesaan. Dapat dismpulkan bahwa pendekatan sosiologi sastra Ian Watt efektif mengungkap hubungan antara pengarang, karya sastra, dan masyarakat. Sastra dapat menciptakan nilai dalam masyarakat.
