Pewarisan Budaya Toraja dalam Novel Landorundun Karya Rampa’ Maega
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk-bentuk pewarisan budaya Toraja yang tergambar dalam novel Landorundun karya Rampa' Maega melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Novel ini dipilih karena mengangkat legenda lokal yang kental dengan nilai-nilai dan tradisi masyarakat Toraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi (konten analisis) pada teks novel. Teori sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara karya sastra dengan konteks sosial budaya masyarakat Toraja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Landorundun tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media efektif dalam mewariskan budaya. Pewarisan budaya ini meliputi tradisi lisan (ulelean pare), sistem kepercayaan (aluk to dolo), dan upacara adat (rambu solo' dan rambu tuka'). Novel ini menghadirkan unsur-unsur budaya Toraja dan merelevansikannya dengan pembaca modern, terutama generasi muda. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah karya sastra berupa novel dapat berperan penting dalam melestarikan dan memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya lokal.
