Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Peran Bahasa, Sastra, dan Budaya dalam Pengembangan Wisata di Kaldera Toba
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi masyarakat terhadap peran bahasa, sastra, dan budaya dalam pengembangan pariwisata di wilayah Kaldera Toba, Sumatera Utara. Kaldera Toba dikenal dengan keindahan alamnya, namun budaya lokal, khususnya bahasa dan sastra Batak, memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung perkembangan sektor pariwisata. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat lokal, ditemukan bahwa masyarakat sangat menyadari pentingnya pelestarian budaya Batak dalam meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan. Namun, tantangan utama terletak pada pentingnya keterlibatan aktif masyarakat lokal dalam menjaga dan memperkenalkan budaya ini kepada wisatawan. Selain itu, aspek infrastruktur dan aksesibilitas menjadi faktor penentu dalam memperkuat keberlanjutan pariwisata berbasis budaya. Penelitian ini menyarankan kolaborasi lebih intens antara masyarakat lokal dan pihak-pihak terkait untuk memaksimalkan potensi budaya Batak dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Kaldera Toba.
