Mutiara Lembah Pesagi: Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam E-Book Bahan Ajar Bahasa Indonesia SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam e-book cerita rakyat Mutiara Lembah Pesagi, serta menelaah kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang mendukung pendidikan karakter. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah e-book cerita rakyat Mutiara Lembah Pesagi yang diterbitkan oleh Balai Bahasa Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2019, sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Surya Dharma Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis isi (content analysis) yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta uji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita rakyat Mutiara Lembah Pesagi mengandung 19 nilai pendidikan karakter, yaitu kepemimpinan dan kebijaksanaan, gotong royong, kepedulian sosial, kreativitas, ketegasan, tanggung jawab, kecerdikan, kerja keras, kejujuran, keteladanan, imajinasi, kesederhanaan, keberanian, pengorbanan, rasa syukur, saling menghargai, kerendahan hati, komitmen, dan integritas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-book Mutiara Lembah Pesagi dinilai layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMP karena memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang relevan dan bermanfaat bagi peserta didik.
