Penerapan Model Think Talk Write dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Biografi pada Siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Jatibarang
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui aktivitas siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran menulis teks biografi dengan menerapkan model think talk write pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Jatibarang (2) Mengetahui penerapan model think talk write efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Jatibarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis desain nenoquevalent control group design. Sampel penelitian penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X DKV 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 20 siswa dan X TPTU sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes menulis teks biografi selain itu digunakan juga teknik berupa observasi dengan tujuan mengamati aktivitas guru dan siswa, data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes tulis dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan statistik dengan menggunakan uji t dua independen (independen simple t test), diperoleh thitung besar 11,500 dan ttabel 1,614 Jadi thitung (11,500) > ttabel (1,614), hal ini menunjukan bahwa H1 diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model think talk write dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Jatibarang efektif. Berdasarkan analisis hasil observasi, terbukti bahwa penerapan model think talk write dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Jatibarang.
