Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Biografi Menggunakan Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dan Model Project Based Learning Pada Siswa Kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 7 Palu
Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks biografi peserta didik melalui pendekatan Culltaruraly Responsive Teaching (CRT) yang dipadukan dengan metode Projct based learning (PJBL) pada siswa kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 7 Palu. Permasalahn yang diangkat adalah rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam menulis teks biografi. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklu 1 digunakan pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) namun hasilnya kurang meksimal karena sebagian peserta didik terlihat kurang tertarik dan tidak terlibat aktif. Oleh karena itu, pada siklus kedua diterapkan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) yang dipadukan dengan model Project Based Learning (PJBL). Pendekatan ini mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan latar belakang budaya peserta didik dan pengalaman nyata melalui kegiatan wawancara tokoh lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam, motivasi, keterlibatan, pemahaman dan kualitas tulisan peserta didik
