Efektifitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Audio Visual Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Berita Pada Siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca berita pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu dan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca berita pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data diperoleh dari delapan kali pertemuan dengan melibatkan dua guru Bahasa Indonesia, 21 siswa, dan kepala sekolah sebagai pengamat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam dari indikator media audio visual telah diterapkan secara konsisten, seperti pengajaran berpusat pada siswa, pemanfaatan platform digital, dan kurikulum yang fleksibel. Penggunaan teknologi seperti YouTube terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan membaca berita . Lingkungan belajar menjadi lebih efektif, dan efisien dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual terbukti sangat efektif digunakan pada proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang lebih efektif dan efisien di SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu.
