Variasi Bahasa Paramedis dalam Pelayanan Kesehatan di Puskesmas Kabupaten Pangkep
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk variasi bahasa paramedis dalam pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Kabupaten Pangkep; (2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi variasi bahasa paramedis dalam pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Kabupaten Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data verbal berupa penggalan wacana interaksi paramedis dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang mengandung bentuk bentuk variasi bahasa. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah paramedis yang bertugas di Puskesmas Taraweang yang letaknya di Kecamatan Labakkang dan Puskesmas Ma’rangyang letaknya berada di Kecamatan Ma’rang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Teknik observasi, teknik rekam, teknik catat, dan teknik wawancara. Analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini meliputi tahap reduksi data,penyajian data, dan penyimpulan dan verifikasi hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Variasi bahasa yang digunakan paramedis dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan adalah penggunaan partikel dalam dialek Bugis Makassar, alih kode bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Bugis dan Campur kode bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Bugis; (2) faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi variasi bahasa paramedis terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi (1) faktor kemampuan berbahasa penutur; (2) kepentingan penutur. Faktor eksternal meliputi (1) faktor status sosial; (2) faktor waktu dan situasi berbahasa; (3) faktor partisipan dalam interaksi.
