Pergeseran Register Bahasa Formal ke Kasual dalam Retorika Presiden: Kajian Fonetik dan Dampaknya Pada Etika Publik
Abstract
Fenomena pergeseran gaya komunikasi politik dari formal ke kasual dalam pidato presiden mencerminkan perubahan dalam strategi retorika yang memengaruhi persepsi publik terhadap etika berbahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk penyimpangan register, aspek fonetik, dan unsur retorika dalam pidato presiden yang diunggah melalui kanal YouTube resmi, serta dampaknya pada etika publik. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik simak dan catat sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penggunaan register kasual dalam ujaran presiden, terutama pada kata “ndasmu” yang mengandung makna emosional, ejekan, serta ketegasan penolakan terhadap kritik publik. Kajian fonetik mengungkap bahwa intonasi, tekanan kata, tempo, dan kualitas suara dalam ujaran tersebut memperkuat kesan emosional pidato. Secara retoris, presiden menggunakan pendekatan pathos, ethos, dan logos untuk memperkuat citra kepemimpinan dan merespons kritik. Namun, pergeseran bahasa tersebut menimbulkan pro dan kontra di tengah masyarakat, terutama terkait etika komunikasi publik. Implikasi dari temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya menjaga kesantunan dan keteladanan dalam komunikasi resmi seorang pemimpin negara, agar tidak mengaburkan batas antara ekspresi pribadi dan tanggung jawab moral dalam ruang publik.
