Pengaruh Media Sosial Terhadap Perkembangan Bahasa Gaul di Kalangan Remaja Kebumen

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya pada media sosial ternyata membawa dampak yang cukup besar terhadap perkembangan bahasa gaul khususnya di kalangan remaja Kebumen, hampir semua orang memiliki ponsel yang pastinya juga memiliki akun media sosial interaksi. Dengan adanya pengaruh media sosial ini, diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan bagi pengguna media sosial terutama pendidik dan orang tua agar terciptanya perkembangan bahasa yang sehat dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan cara mengamati objek secara langsung guna mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap perkembangan bahasa gaul. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari pengaruh media sosial terhadap perkembangan bahasa gaul di kalangan remaja Kebumen sangat terlihat dalam bahasa interaksi yang digunakan, bahkan itu sudah menjadi kebiasaan.
