Resistensi Moral terhadap Hegemoni Religius dalam Cerpen Pengantar Tidur Panjang Karya Eka Kurniawan
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi resistensi moral tokoh Bapak dalam cerpen Pengantar Tidur Panjang (2009) karya Eka Kurniawan sebagai respons terhadap hegemoni religius dalam keluarga pasca-Reformasi melalui pendekatan micro-hegemony (Gramsci), dengan metode Analisis Wacana Kritis (Fairclough) yang mengeksplorasi tiga level analisis: teks, praktik wacana, dan praktik sosial. Temuan penelitian mengungkap representasi tokoh Bapak sebagai figur ambigu, seorang Kiai yang dihormati publik tetapi tidak memaksakan nilai religiusnya dalam keluarga, melalui strategi resistensi seperti tawa dan ironi ("tertawa di dalam hati") sebagai hidden transcript (Scott), penerimaan terhadap perbedaan ideologi anak, prioritas nilai moral lokal atas konflik politik, serta ambivalensi kata terakhir "Allah" yang sekaligus mengukuhkan dan mempertanyakan performativitas religius. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa Eka Kurniawan menawarkan kritik post-sekular terhadap keluarga religius Indonesia dengan menunjukkan bagaimana hegemoni justru efektif ketika tidak dipaksakan, sekaligus merefleksikan dinamika micro-hegemony pasca-Reformasi berupa otoritas agama yang terfragmentasi dan negosiasi nilai melalui etika, sehingga memperkaya diskusi tentang sastra sebagai medium kritik sosial yang subtil.
