Kajian Sosiologi Sastra terhadap Konflik, Kritik Sosial, dan Moral dalam Film Gundala (2019) Karya Joko Anwar
Abstract
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra untuk menganalisis film Gundala (2019) karya Joko Anwar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap konflik, bentuk kritik sosial, dan nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam alur cerita serta karakter-karakternya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan pencatatan, yang difokuskan pada dialog serta adegan dalam film. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Sancaka, tokoh utama, mengalami tiga jenis konflik utama: konflik internal (psikologis), konflik sosial (dengan lingkungannya), dan konflik eksternal. Film ini menggambarkan ketidakadilan struktural yang disebabkan oleh penyalahgunaan kekuasaan oleh pihak-pihak yang memiliki otoritas dalam bidang politik dan ekonomi. Sancaka mengalami transformasi yang didorong oleh solidaritas, kepedulian, dan keberanian. Oleh karena itu, Gundala tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media kritik sosial yang mendorong kesadaran moral dan kepedulian sosial terhadap ketimpangan sosial. Film ini menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan sejati berasal dari empati tulus terhadap penderitaan orang lain.
