Resistensi Perempuan terhadap Norma Sosial: Sebuah Kritik Sastra Feminisme dan Sosiologis pada Novel Yuni
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi perempuan dan bentuk-bentuk perlawanan terhadap nilai-nilai patriarki dalam novel Yuni karya Ade Ubaidil. Novel ini merepresentasikan sosok perempuan muda yang menghadapi tekanan sosial, terutama terkait tuntutan pernikahan dan pengabaian terhadap hak pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis dan sosiologis. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca-catat terhadap kutipan narasi dan dialog dalam novel yang mencerminkan ketimpangan gender dan nilai patriarkal yang masih kuat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Yuni digambarkan sebagai sosok yang berani melawan dominasi sosial, menolak pernikahan tanpa konsensus, dan mempertahankan hak atas pendidikan di tengah tekanan budaya yang konservatif. Selain itu, novel ini juga mengkritik konstruksi sosial terhadap perempuan yang direduksi menjadi peran domestik dan tunduk pada mitos-mitos tradisional seperti pamali. Melalui resistensi tokoh utama, novel Yuni menjadi medium sastra yang tidak hanya menyuarakan perjuangan perempuan, tetapi juga menawarkan kritik terhadap budaya patriarki yang membatasi kebebasan dan martabat perempuan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kajian sastra feminis dan kesadaran kritis akan pentingnya otonomi perempuan dalam menentukan pilihan hidupnya.
