Penggunaan Metafora dan Makna dalam Diskursus Politik pada Media Sosial (Kajian Pragmatik)
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metafora dan makna dalam diskursus politik di media sosial, khususnya pada Platform Youtube, dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada pada dialog politik yang diunggah oleh channel The Habibie Center. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pencatat, dan stuudi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metafora yang digunakan dalam diskursus politik di media sosial berfungsi untuk membangun citra politik, membingkai isu-isu tertentu, serta mempengaruhi opini publik. Tindak tutur ilokusi, seperti asertif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, dan deklaratif, banyak ditemukan dalam penggunaan metafora tersebut. Tindak tutur asertif dalam pernyataan keyakinan dan penegasan terhadap ideologi tertentu. Direktif muncul dalam bentuk ajakan, permintaan, dan intruksi kepada publik atau pemerintah. Ekspresif terlihat pada ungkapan keprihatinan, kritik, dan pujian terhadap kondisi politik atau tokoh tertentu. Komisif digunakan dalam janji politik atau komitmen terhadap kebijakan, sedangkan deklaratif hadir dalam pengumuman atau pernyataan yang mengubah status politik tertentu. Selain itu, makna dalam diskursus politik tidak hanya bersifat literal, melainkan juga implisit yang dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial, budaya, dan tujuan komunikatif penutur. Temuan ini mengaskan bahwa penggunaan metafora dalam diskursus politik di media sosial menjadi alat strategis dalam membentuk persepsi politik masyarakat.
