Nilai Moral Syair Jawa Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Pendidikan Karakter pada Santri Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an
Abstract
Pembentukan karakter merupakan aspek fundamental dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, di mana pendidikan karakter tidak hanya bertujuan mencerdaskan, tetapi juga membentuk budi pekerti dan sopan santun generasi muda. Dalam konteks masyarakat Jawa, pendidikan karakter telah diterapkan sejak dini melalui pola asuh keluarga dan pengenalan nilai-nilai luhur budaya Jawa. Namun, di era globalisasi, tantangan terhadap moralitas remaja semakin meningkat, sehingga diperlukan upaya pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya, salah satunya melalui syair-syair Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran syair Jawa dalam membentuk karakter anak bangsa, khususnya melalui lembaga pendidikan nonformal seperti Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran (TPQ). Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi terhadap syair-syair Jawa yang berkembang di masyarakat. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah syair-syair Jawa yang berkembang di masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis dokumen. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunkan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa syair-syair Jawa tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai warisan budaya, tetapi juga sebagai media efektif dalam menanamkan nilai moral dan membangun karakter generasi muda di tengah tantangan globalisasi.
