A Reprensentasi Kekuasaan Yang Tercermin pada Cerpen “Protes” karya Putu Wijaya dan Cerpen “Ruang Isolasi untuk Si Gila” karya Han Gagas
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur teks, bentuk hegemoni kekuasaan, dan oposisi biner dalam cerpen Protes karya Putu Wijaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa teks tertulis dari cerpen tersebut. Fokus analisis mencakup tiga aspek utama, yaitu struktur cerpen, manifestasi hegemoni kekuasaan, dan bentuk oposisi biner yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan poskolonial untuk memahami relasi kekuasaan yang tersirat dalam teks, terutama dalam konteks dominansi suatu kelompok terhadap kelompok lain yang lebih lemah. Dalam cerpen Protes, tergambarkan secara jelas adanya ketimpangan kekuasaan antara kaum yang berkuasa dan kaum yang tertindas, yang menjadi refleksi dari dinamika sosial pascakolonial.
