Analisis Wacana Kritis Roger Fowler dan Theo Van Leeuwen Pemberitaan Bullying pada Media Kompas dan CNN Indonesia
Abstract
Dalam era digital dan globalisasi saat ini, media massa memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk opini publik dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap berbagai isu sosial, termasuk bullying. Pemberitaan mengenai bullying sering kali mempengaruhi bagaimana masyarakat memahami, merespons, dan berinteraksi dengan fenomena tersebut. Analisis wacana kritis dapat digunakan dalam menganalis teks berita daring tentang bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kedua media tersebut memberitakan kasus bullying dengan menggunakan kerangka Analisis Wacana Kritis yang dikembangkan oleh Roger Fowler dan Theo van Leeuwen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Roger Fowler dan Theo Van Leeuwen untuk menganalisis teks berita tentang bullying dari aspek kosakata, tata bahasa, ekslusi, dan inklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 63 data yang diperoleh dari teks berita tentang bullying dari koran digital Kompas dan CNN Indonesia dengan model analisis wacana kritis Roger Fowler dan Theo Van Leeuwen yang merujuk pada aspek kosakata dalam analisis wacana kritis model Roger Fowler mencakup kosakata klasifikasi, membatasi pandangan, pertarungan wacana, dan marginalisasi. Sedangkan pada aspek tata bahasa mencakup pasivasi dan nominalisasi. Kemudian beberapa apsek yang dianalisis menurut Theo Van Leeuwen diantaranya adalah pasivasi dan nominalisasi untuk eksklusi, dan untuk aspek inklusi diantaranya adalah Objektivasi-Abstraksi, Nominasi-Kategorisasi, Determinasi-Indeterminasi, Asosiasi-Disosiasi, dan Nominasi-Identifikasi. Pemilihan kosakata dan struktur tata bahasa sangat penting bagi para penulis dalam menyampaikan sebuah berita. Terdapat keterkaitan antara teori analisis wacana kritis Roger Fowler dan Theo Van Leeuwen seperti pasivasi dan nominalisasi serta klasifikasi berkaitan dengan identifikasi dan kategorisasi.
