Semiotika Pesan Moral dalam Film Budi Pekerti karya Wregas Bhanuteja
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji semiotika Roland Barthes pada film Budi Pekerti karya Wregas Bhanuteja. Kajian semiotika Roland Barthes dalam penelitian ini hanya terfokus untuk menemukan makna yang terkandung dalam film Budi Pekerti, yaitu dengan melakukan analisis pada simbol berupa gambar, dialog, juga gerak tubuh yang ditampilkan dalam film. Film Budi Pekerti karya Wregas Bhanuteja merupakan salah satu karya sastra yang menggunakan simbol sebagai media penyampaian pesan atau informasi. Teori analisis Roland Barthes dipilih untuk penelitian ini karena suatu tujuan; teori tersebut telah digunakan secara luas dalam penelitian semiotik dan secara konsisten menunjukkan keandalannya, pemilihan teori ini juga selaras dengan objek penelitian yang mengandung simbol sehingga dapat diamati menggunakan semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data dan pembahasannya dilaporkan dalam bentuk deskripsi atau uraian, dengan teknik baca dan catat sebagai teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Melalui hasil dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, dalam film Budi Pekerti karya Wregas Bhanuteja memuat 10 data yang mengandung pesan moral, dari 10 data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada 6 pesan moral yag terkandung, yaitu : (1) Kejujuran, (2) Keberanian, (3) Bertanggungjawab, (4) Kritis, (5) Pengendalian Emosi, dan (6) Menghargai Hidup.
