Penerapan Pendekatan CRT Dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Prosedur Berbasis Budaya Makanan Khas Semarang Pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 37 Semarang
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap efektivitas penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur berbasis budaya Semarang dengan tema makanan khas Semarang pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 37 Semarang. Metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggali secara mendalam fenomena penerapan pendekatan CRT yang berfokus pada pengamatan langsung di lapangan untuk memahami fenomena secara alami. Peneliti berperan aktif dalam mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen dalam sumber data penelitian ini. berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa penerapan pendekatan CRT pada teks prosedur di kelas VII SMP 37 Semarang itu, pendekatan ini juga berhasil menumbuhkan rasa bangga dan apresiasi siswa terhadap budaya lokal Semarang. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran yang relevan dan menarik, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CRT tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi menulis siswa, tetapi juga dalam memperkaya pengetahuan siswa tentang makanan lokal. Penelitian ini menawarkan alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran menulis yang berpusat pada siswa dan berakar pada konteks budaya.
