Penguasaan Bahasa Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK): Analisis Respons terhadap Pertanyaan di SLB Negeri Tamanwinangun Kebumen
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegtahui respons Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) terkait respon terhadap pertanyaan yang diajukan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu studi lapangan di SLB Negeri Tamanwinangun Kebumen. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara kepada ABK dan guru, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini di antaranya yaitu ABK tunarungu menunjukkan respons dengan adanya kata benda (KB) dan kata sifat (KS), ABK tunagrahita dominan merespons dengan KB, ABK tunadaksa merespons dengan KB tapi kadang juga dengan KS, ABK autis hampir keseluruhan merespons dengan KB, dan untuk ABK tunanetra mereka mulai merespons dengan jawaban yang lebih lengkap walaupun belum spenuhnya terstruktur. Secara umum hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ABK di SLB Negeri Tamanwinangun cenderung memberikan respons dalam bentuk kalimat yang fragmental yang lebih singkat dan terbatas. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam kemampuan komunikasi verbal mereka.
