Penggunaan Gaya Bahasa dalam Novel ke Film 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar: Tinjauan Ekranisasi Eneste
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perbedaan medium yang memengaruhi cara cerita dipahami dan dirasakan oleh audiens terhadap adaptasi film dari novel 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar. Salah satu faktor utama yang memengaruhi perbedaan interpretasi adalah penggunaan gaya bahasa yang dianggap cocok dalam novel, tetapi dianggap tidak cocok dalam film. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori ekranisasi Eneste untuk mengetahui proses yang terjadi dari adaptasi novel ke bentuk film. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan penggunaan gaya bahasa dalam proses ekranisasi, khususnya pada tuturan tokoh. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui dan analisis konten pada novel dan film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tiga bentuk ekranisasi yaitu: 81 pengurangan, 59 penambahan, dan 8 perubahan bervariasi. Pengurangan gaya bahasa terjadi pada elemen yang kurang relevan dalam film, sedangkan penambahan dilakukan untuk memperkuat karakter dan suasana. Sarkasme adalah gaya bahasa yang paling dominan dalam tuturan tokoh. Sarkasme digunakan sebanyak 31 kali dan berfungsi menambah kedalaman karakter serta meningkatkan daya tarik cerita. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa ekranisasi memengaruhi cara penonton memahami gaya bahasa, menciptakan nuansa yang berbeda antara novel dan film.
