Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu, manusia menciptakan kecanggihan teknologi yang dikembangkan secara pesat dari zaman ke zaman. Artificial Intelligence (AI) menjadi inovasi luar biasa dalam perkembangan teknologi. AI memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memperoleh pengetahuan dan informasi sebagai penunjang kegiatan perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan AI dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa dan kepenulisan mahasiswa Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Dalam penyusunan artikel ini, penulis menggunakan dua variabel. Variabel bebas dilambangkan sebagai variabel X yaitu penggunaan AI, sedangkan variabel terikat dilambangkan sebagai variabel Y yaitu keterampilan berbahasa dan kepenulisan mahasiswa Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Peneliti memilih mahasiswa Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang sebagai populasi, dan mendapatkan 60 jumlah responden sebagai sampel penelitian. Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah model kuesioner berbentuk google formulir yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Penggunaan  metode ini memungkinkan para peneliti untuk mengukur variabel tertentu secara objektif. Manfaat penelitian ini ialah untuk memberikan hasil penelitian yang bersifat objektif, sehingga nantinya dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa dan kepenulisan mahasiswa melalui pemanfaatan AI dengan tetap memperhatikan keseimbangan ke arah positif dalam penggunaannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan AI dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa dan kepenulisan mahasiswa Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan yang disajikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh tersebut dibuktikan dengan tingginya akurasi penilaian kualitas AI dalam membantu kegiatan akademik mahasiswa, khususnya dalam bidang berbahasa dan kepenulisan.
