Praanggapan pada Tindak Tutur Ekspresif dalam Novel Anne of Green Gables Karya Lucy Maud Montgomery
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk praanggapan yang terdapat pada tindak tutur ekspresif dalam novel Anne of Green Gables karya Lucy Maud Montgomery dengan menggunakan teori praanggapan oleh Yule. Metode yang digunakan untuk menunjang penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini memerlukan teknik dalam tahap pengumpulan data dan analisis data. Maka dari itu, digunakan metode simak berupa teknik sadap, simak, dan catat untuk tahap pengumpulan data. Sedangkan untuk tahap analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga langkah berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat (1) dua tindak tutur ekspresif yang mengandung praanggapan eksistensial, (2) empat tindak tutur ekspresif yang mengandung praanggapan faktif, (3) sepuluh tindak tutur ekspresif yang mengandung praanggapan non-faktif, (4) dan tiga tindak tutur ekspresif yang mengandung praanggapan kontrafaktual.
